Richard Venables MRICS Tom Barton MRICS
Richard was educated at St Edwards, Oxford and Exeter University where he gained a Geography degree. He commenced his surveying career in 1989 at Gerald Eve in London. He joined James Offen and Partners in 1993, moving to Savills in 1998. Richard has considerable experience in office, industrial, retail, development and investment agency work. A dedicated member of Oxford Hawks Hockey Club he is also a keen skier and golfer (despite his hockey swing). Tom was educated at Abingdon School and at The University of the West of England, Bristol. He started his career at King Sturge in Bristol and moved to Savills in Oxford in 1999. Tom specialises in agency and investment work for a wide range of local and national clients. When not attempting to renovate his house (an everlasting experience) Tom is a keen cyclist and by far and away the best golfer at VSL albeit not a huge claim to fame!
Richard Sherrott FRICS Andrew Lockhart FRICS
Richard gained his degree from the College of Estate Management, London. He has worked in Oxford for over 25 years starting in the Valuation office before moving to Chesterton where he was director in charge of the Oxford office. Specialising in professional work including rating, valuation, landlord and tenant work as well as property acquisitions, Richard has established a large client base. Richard outpaces all his colleagues in the annual Oxford Town and Gown race (best time 41 minutes) and follows the misfortunes of Hereford United FC. Andrew was educated at Shiplake College, Henley on Thames and later at Cambridge Polytechnic. He has worked for Chesterton in Reading then moving to Oxford. Andrew specialises in valuations, landlord and tenant and rating work. Andrew is an enthusiast of country pursuits and keen runner and walker (when out of breath!)
Vivienne Spurge FRICS  
Vivienne studied at Bristol Polytechnic and became a Chartered Surveyor whilst working for Richard Ellis in London.
She moved to Oxford in 1986 and worked for Buckell & Ballard before entering the partnership of James Offen and Partners in 1989 and Savills in 1998. Vivienne specialises in the acquisition of properties and development consultancy work. Vivienne is also an examiner for the RICS and keen skier, diver and traveller extraordinaire.
